these people is just awesome. at first when i started following them on twitter, i’m having second thoughts of tweeting to them they might just ignore my tweets hahaha but when i tried…. boom .

just so you know, i have always loved Viva Bianca (Ilithyia) since sparty S1. then i tried to address a tweet to her. well i was not expecting a reply back. but after a few hours. she did reply and retweeted my tweet. i will never ever forget this!

these are a couple of replies from dan (Agron). he so approachable. i just love they way he answers his fans like he’s somewhere near them haha. and also he really takes time to answer tweets from his fans. hope he will never get tired of doing that because its awesome. 

when i started following Liam, i never expected a reply from him. well he never ever replied to my tweets. hahha i scanned his twitter page and found out that he only replies to chosen people i think? then i have learned that he plays skyrim which i also play. then i posted a tweet about skyrim and spartacus which is “I used to be a gladiator like you, then i took a sword in the knee”. i tweaked that line from skyrim and changed the adventurer to gladiator and arrow to sword. then addressed that tweet to him. well as always i was never expecting a reply from him. but he retweeted it. now, he knows that i exists. HAHAHA then i visited his twitter page and found my face in it. well its okay he didn’t reply. seeing my face in his page is more better than getting a reply HAHAHAHA.

Spartacus: Vengeance (S2)

FINALLY, i am now starting to write this review about sparty s2 which is vengeance. i was planning to do this a very long time ago. well as i’ve said earlier in the previous sparty s1 review, i’ve been too lazy because its summer HAHAHAHA well lets go ba to s2. :))

its really nice seeing Liam playing the role of sparty after Andy died. i know Andy is a legend and cannot be easily replaced but Liam is doing the job well. I think he is the best replacement though. Liam is as hot as Andy. :D regarding the continuation of the story, Mr. Steven DeKnight did a very good job as always. he is also a legend. after sparty and his slave friends were freed in s1, the rebellion that they’ve started against the romans continued. they began to hide in places that they think theyre safe. on the other side, Gaius is really busy hunting for sparty, well because of what they did to the house of Batiatus in s1. he really wants his head on a plate HAHAHA also he wants it for his own glory. the actors really did a great job playing their roles especially Liam. i have to admit that at first, i was not comfortable seeing Liam as sparty because i got used to seeing Andy as sparty in s1. but as i go episode by episode, i already got used to it. and i realized that Liam is nice. he’s also cute. :D here are some pictures i got from IMBD. i clearly do not own the images, no copyright infringement intended.

Look Dustin Clare is back, i mean Gannicus. i just love this guy really. he always have those charming smile. its just sad that he’s not into social networking. Dan tweeted about it that Dustin doesn’t have any facebook or twitter account. he said its not his thing. well i guess Dustin enjoys his private life though. thats nice. :D

Viva is so gorgeous as always. i have always loved her since s1. she’s even more beautiful in this season. too bad when she got pregnant and gave birth to spartys baby, lucretia took him from her and ran to the cliff holding the baby and then jumped. i hope Ilithyia will not die, like what they did to lucretia in this season, i thought lucretia was dead during the massacre but she’s not.

i really get angry everytime i see gaius face in this season, well that means one thing. THIS MAN PLAYED HIS ROLE VERY WELL. HAHAHA

Look the fucking syrian is still alive in this season. hahaha ashur is one heck of a dog shit. HAHAHA i just love the scene when he was beheaded by naevia. LOLOLOL

i really don’t like this girl sepia. she has poor acting skills really. and i think the role of sepia doesn’t fit her. well she died, thats good for her. HAHAHAH evil me.

the doctore is back on track! he joined sparty’s mission to slay romans! this is good! too bad he also died. well good for him so that he can join his wife melitta in the afterlife. :D

what dafuq happened to the real Naevia? well honestly, i really don’t like this new naevia. but i still love their love story. crixus is such a nice man i mean nice and passionate lover. all men should be like him. i just love the scene when he finally found naevia in the mines and he embraced her without any doubt. he really fought for her. lucky naevia!

Mira seems to be nice. i just don’t understand why sparty didn’t love her. she’s pretty, sexy, thoughtful and strong. well i guess sparty have not found in her what he found in his late wife.

oh god i just love Agron and Nasir. they clearly show that love has no boundaries. it doesn’t care about gender. kudos to you two.

well i guess Liam did a good job of replacing andy as spartacus. i am hoping for more in s3. i read tweets about the upcoming s3 in 2013. i am really excited for it. i just can’t wait! SPARTACUS IS A LEGEND!

Spartacus: Blood and Sand (S1)

after finishing gods of the arena, i watched s1 immediately. i should’ve written this review few weeks ago but i got too lazy HAHAHA ykno its summer, everybody does all the lazy things eat sleep eat sleep etc. LOL the thought that Andy Whitfield dead really made me less excited to watch this season. really. i adore Spartacus. it really has a nice story, i mean perfect story and i like it despite my interest in ancient stories and movies tv shows articles etc. the only thing i don’t like about this season is that there are too much fake blood and not-so-nice camera tricks and effects. the rest is fine. i got some pictures from IMDB. i do not own the following pictures. no copyright infringement intended.

Andy and Erin are really good and gorgeous people. they played their roles well. i love it when sparty tried his best to be able to see his wife and to be united with her again. i want my future partner to be like him. but i think that kind of man already extinct. HAHAHA the two had an ill-fated path that they should follow. its sad that his wife was killed by his own dominus, i mean master. when he knew that his dominus was the one who ordered his wife to be dead, he thought of a rebellion and asked his brothers to join him. and the rebellion was a success. murdered all the noble people inside the house of Batiatus including batiatus and his wife Lucretia. and they were free. i also adore other actors and actresses like Lucy Lawless and John Hannah. they are just the perfect dominus and domina. they really played their roles well. thumbs up for them. the actor who played Varro is also nice. he’s cute though HAHA. sparty has been a good friend to him in the season. its also sad that he was killed by sparty himself. tsk

Spartacus is really a success. the only thing that contradicts this success is that after the season, Andy lost his fight to cancer. its such a sad thing to know that he is no longer spartacus in S2. :| here are some other pictures i’ve seen over the net, i mean google to be exact haha. :D

oh god i really love this scene of crixus and naevia, so romantic. the undefeated gaul and the domina’s slave. i just like the transformation of crixus from the champion of capua to a passionate lover. and btw, he’s hot. ooolalaaalalaaa

John Hannah as Batiatus and Lucy Lawless as Lucretia. such a good actor and actress.

Viva is so beautiful. i really admire her. she even replied to my tweet and retweeted it. shes so sweet. i so love her.

Rest in Peace Andy Whitfield, you will always be the legendary spartacus that i’ve known. really. you will never be forgotten. your legend will be continued by Liam. and i think he is the best replacement for you. again, Rest in Peace.

It is not much of a secret that I am one of those mean, feminist types. Not only that, but I am one of those mean feminist types who views everything I watch through a feminist lens, using my experiences as a woman to analyze the media I consume, analyzing this media with jaded, somewhat tired eyes at how the stories of men are always front and center with no regard for the stories of women. Therefore, it was a bit of surprise to me when I began watching Spartacus, and saw a show that not only told the stories of men themselves, but also showed these same men in the supporting roles of women’s stories. Very rarely do we see such a balance, and it’s one of the reasons why this show is just amazing.

But while I gladly sail on the S.S. Nagron with steady hand, and my heart writes love letters to Ilithyia on a daily basis, nothing has amazed me more than the transformation of Crixus from cocky, undefeated champion of the arena to the wise and giving man who has learned that sometimes fighting means nothing more than standing side by side with the woman he loves to offer support as she comes into her own. In the course of two seasons, Crixus has become one of the most feminist-friendly characters in the history of television, and it has been a marvel to behold.

Spartacus: Gods of the Arena

I just finished watching all the episodes last night and you know what? Gannicus is just hot as hell and he has that charming smile. i was thinking of downloading season 1 but i read some reviews that its not good to watch and i think this hottie is not part of it also. HAHAHA so i’ll be downloading season 2. :P i think this TV series is good. nice story though despite of my interest in ancient stories (roman, greek.. etc anything ancient). but it has alot of not-so-nice computer effects that makes it unrealistic like fake blood and stuff etc..

i went to the salon today to get my hair dyed. well because i was jealous of zorens hair that i dyed last night so i went to the salon to get it done on my hair. and guess what dafuq happened? it didn’t turned out they way i wanted it to be. its like 80% nothing happened to my hair. i wasted my money. i don’t wanna name the salon but surely i will not go back to that salon ever. i was thinking of getting it dyed again but im afraid it would only cause my hair damage. fvckaaaaaaaaaaahh i am so pissed off! please someone give me a bad mood reliever? 

it’s also my nephew’s birthday today. we didn’t have the chance of joining the celebration in batangas because my dad was busy with his work. i have no one to accompany me. well i was planning to go there alone and commute but the thought that it is passenger season this time of the year and the enormous number of passengers rushing through the bus terminal made me change my mind. maybe i’ll just attend his next birthday celebration . its an annual thing y’kno :D
